Chromatic Scale - Mouth

This video clip shows the activity of the anatomical structures inside the mouth while the saxophonist performs a chromatic scale ascending from B3 to F#6 and descending to Bb3. Throughout the ascending and descending chromatic scale, the tongue remains in a stable "i" vowel position (as in the word "tree"). Notice the delicate articulation on F#5 after the breath in the descending scale.
