| This video clip shows the tongue moving forward in the mouth to enable the top of the tongue to contact the tip of the reed in producing initial attacks and legato and staccato articulations. At this tempo, the tongue stops the tone in staccato articulation, remaining in contact with the reed until releasing the reed at the initiation of the next tone. |
